Gloria Tamborini was born in Milan, August, 1, 1956. Degree in Medicine and Surgery (1981) with specialization in Cardiology (1983) at the University of Milan.
Actually she is Senior Staff member of the Cardiac Imaging and Echocardiographic Laboratory of the Centro Cardiologico Monzino in Milan and Teaching Professor of the Postgraduate School of Cardiology of the Università degli Studi di Milano.
Author of over 80 peer reviewed papers, 200 abstracts, she is deeply involved in clinical and research activities, with studies in different fields of cardiovascular diseases and in particular in valvular and congenital heart diseases, transesophageal and 3D echocardiography.

Manuela Muratori has a Master degree in Medicine from the University of Milan (1987) and has obtained a Board in Cardiology in 1991.
Since 1992 she is Junior Staff member of Centro Cardiologico, Fondazione I. Monzino, IRCCS, Institute of Cardiology University of Milan. Since 2204 she is Senior Staff of the Institute. Her teaching activities include lessons to the students of postgraduate School of Cardiology of the University of Milan.
She is involved in research activities, with studies in fileds of echocardiography (prosthetic heart valve disease and mitral valve prolapse) and heart failure. She is author of more than 35 peer reviewed papers in international journals.
